Gaza Ramadan Emergency Appeal
The humanitarian situation in Gaza has reached a critical breaking point. Following years of relentless conflict and the collapse of essential infrastructure, 2.3 million people are now struggling for basic survival. This Ramadan, the call for action is more urgent than ever.
The Reality on the Ground
Over 80% of the population remains displaced, surviving in overcrowded, makeshift shelters with severely restricted access to clean water, medicine, and food. As of early 2026, the crisis for the youngest residents has deepened; nearly 132,000 children under five are projected to suffer from acute malnutrition this year, with thousands facing life-threatening conditions. Hunger remains a constant shadow, with one in five households often forced to survive on just a single meal per day. Furthermore, over 1.4 million people continue to live in cramped displacement sites where winter conditions and a lack of proper sanitation have fueled a surge in infectious diseases.
