Fidya & Kafarrah
"O you who believe, fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may develop God-consciousness." (Quran 2:183).
Fasting is one of the five pillars of Islam and is obligatory for all mentally sound and capable Muslims to observe during the holy month of Ramadan. If you are unable to fast or intentionally break your fast, then you must compensate by providing food for the poor or vulnerable during Ramadan.
Fidya
If you are unable to fast for a valid reason such as illness, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or travel, then you must make up for it by paying Fidya for each missed day.
Fulfill your obligation and donate your Fidya with us today.
£5 Fidya for 1 day

Kaffarah
Kaffarah is the compensation one pays for deliberately breaking or missing a fast without a valid reason.
